The Alpha course is a course on the basics of the Christian faith, described as "an opportunity to explore the meaning of life,"[1] currently running in churches, homes, workplaces, prisons, universities and a wide variety of other locations. It is run through out Malaysia and the world
Basically our church in USJ 1 Subang does it in an informal manner where there is an Alpha Dinner where we invite members and guests to come over for "makan".
We then proceed with a short video course and also have a short discussion. In all the meetings last 2 hours where the environment we try to keep it as casual as possible.
Last week Alpha had Susan and her daughter Francine talk about how she came for alpha 2 years ago and the impact on their families.
